 Filosofia al presente, edited by Massimo Adinolfi, is the product of the work of an Italianieuropei study group, made of theoretical, political and law philosophers, who in the course of 2008 aimed at focusing on some decisive issues that the political culture, inspired to democratic and reformist socialism, should face. The first issue is the health of the State and sovereignty. The second main issue is that of biopolitics, that is the new scenarios for political actions which are created by the more and more frequent situations in which politics shall deals with the people, not so much because they are citizens but because they are living beings.
