The Italianieuropei Foundation carries out its activities independently and autonomously thanks to donations made by private individuals and by companies. Such contributions may be addressed to the constitutive reserves of the Foundation, a restricted fund that is administered by the Foundation in accordance with conservative criteria, or to the financing of individual operational activities or they are made to pay for subscriptions and for advertising in the journal.

Individuals who make one-time donations to the fund for amounts of fifty thousand Euro or more, become “meritorious members” of the Foundation and in such capacity they can participate in the public and social activities of the Foundation. They can also be appointed as members of the Board of Directors. Indeed, the Meeting of Meritorious Members appoints from amongst its ranks, three Directors of the Board of the Foundation.

The meritorious members of the Foundation include prominent representatives from the business world like, among others, Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, Guidalberto Guidi, Francesco Micheli, Vittorio Merloni, Claudio Cavazza, Carlo De Benedetti, Gianfranco Dioguardi and Paolo Marzotto as well as companies like Pirelli, Gruppo Marchini, Philip Morris, Glaxo Wellcome, Pharmacia & UpJohn, Lega delle Cooperative, ABB and Ericcson.
